 Accounting Society

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization:
    To prepare students for professional roles in accounting and the business world.
  • Membership Requirements and Obligations: 
    $5 dues for two semester membership
  • Activities and Events Planned for Current Year:
    Four meetings per semester and bus trip to Indianapolis.

  Actuarial Club

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization: The purpose of the club is to provide IPFW students majoring in Mathematics the opportunity to 1.) learn about the Actuary profession. 2.) be connected with local employers and organizations associated with the Actuary profession. 3.) attend lectures and meetings given by local employers and organizations associated with the Actuary profession. 4.) explore internships/employments in the field of Actuary. 5.) form support groups to prepare for Actuary exams

ASL Pah! Club

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization:
    To promote American Sign Language and culture in a positive way on IPFW. To give IPFW students who are studying ASL an opportunity ot use & improve their language skills and learn more about deaf culture.
  • Membership Requirements and Obligations: 
    $2.00 dues a semester or $3.00 a year. Must be an IPFW student and may include a limited number of non-students. Voting members must be enrolled in at least 1 credit hour and maintain a 2.0 GPA.

    Deaf Deaf World (spring semester), Volunteering, Hear Care, Deaf Santa

 AMSA Pre-Med Club

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization:
    To facilitate medical community exposure and promote medically oriented experiences for its members. To provide support and guidance for the application process to allopathic and osteopathic schools of medicine.
  • Membership Requirements and Obligations:
    Active voting/membership is open to all students currently enrolled in at least one credit hour, and who have paid club dues: $5.00 per academic year. Each voting member must maintain at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA at IPFW. Inactive non-voting membership shall be open to interested individuals; however, they may not hold office. A member may be expelled from the organization for conduct unvecoming and for violations of the student code of conduct.

    Monthly meetings, fund-raisers, club trip, and mentor program.

 American Society of Civil Engineers

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization:
    The purpose and goals of this organization are to encourage the development of a professional consciousness, to introduce students to the profession of Civil Engineering, to promote a spirit of congeniality among students, and to provide friendly contact with the Engineering profession.
  • Membership Requirements and Obligations:
    Membership in this organization shall be open to all IPFW students and may include a limited number of non-students. Fifty-one percent of the total membership must be a currently enrolled student at IPFW and those members may vote, hold office, and represent the organization/university in an official capacity. The minimum membership requirement is 8 members. Membership dues of the club shall be $10.00 per semester and are due at the second regular metting of the semester

 American Society of Interior Designers

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization:
    IPFW has been granted a university chapter of American Society of Interior Designers. IPFW ASID's goals reflect those of our nationally based parent organization."To advance the profession and communicate the impact of Interior Design to enhance the human experience." 
  • Membership Requirements and Obligations:
    Those seeking membership will be eligible after paying the annual student membership dues through www.asid.org . In addition to membership dues, those wishing to be IPFW ASID members must also adhere to ASID core values. 1. LEADS collaboration with those working to promote the value of interior design. 2. PREPARES its members to excel in a dynamic and evolving profession competing in global marketplace. 3. LEADS the profession through the generation, collection, and dissemination of applied knowledge.

 Anthropology Club

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization:
    The club will stimulate and encourage interest and involvement of the student body in Anthropology and promote community-wide interest in anthropology.
  • Membership Requirements and Obligations: 
    Active membership shall be open to enrolled studnets, and adjunct membership to any individual including faculty, with dues of $2.00 per semester for all members. Only active members may vote. Non-active members are those accumulating three ore more unexcused abesnces in one semester. Membership and participation shall be freem from discrimination and harrassment per the policies of the IPFW Code of Students Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct as stated in Part I, Section A, Items 3 and 4.

    Monthly meetings, Luncheon Lecture Series, Anthropology Unplugged, the BIG Event, field trips.

  Art Students League

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization: 
    Our organization's goal is to promote all artistic endeavors, provide opportunities for students to display their work, and to involve students in the local community

 Association for Computing Machinery

  • Purpose and Goals of Organization:
    To promote a means of communication and greater interest in the increase of knowledge of design, development, construction, languages, and application of computing.
  • Membership Requirements and Obligations:
    Open to all IPFW students.  To vote you must hold a 2.5 GPA and will adhere to the IPFW Code of Student Rights.
