Rivalries

CRN 23532 HON H101-01H Date and Time to be determined LB 211

Inspired by the political rivalry between James Carville and Mary Matalin, the two Omnibus speakers, this class will take an interdisciplinary approach to the question of rivalries, both productive and unproductive. We will look at examples of rivalries in the arts, sciences, public policy, history, political science, business, and industry. Faculty from different colleges and departments on this campus will present their discipline’s rivalry.

Class will meet 10 times over the course of the semester at a time TBD (to hopefully accommodate the schedules of interested students).
