Travel Grants

The Graduate Student Travel Grant Program is meant to support the efforts of IPFW graduate students who are involved in faculty mentored research projects. To be eligible, a student must have a paper or creative project accepted for presentation at a professional conference or event.

How to Apply

To apply for consideration, students should submit their application, along with the following:

  • Conference acceptance letter/email
  • Conference materials
  • Copy of the student's research paper abstract
  • Detailed budget
  • Email/memo department financial support
  • Email/memo dean financial support

Deadline

Student applications must be received no later than 30 days prior to the date of departure.

The Office of Graduate Studies will provided a maximum of $250 per student, per semester. Awards are made on a reimbursement basis.

Funds are available to support a minimum of five students per year. No more than two students will be supported for travel to a particular conference from a single department or program per year.
