The biggest deadline is applying for graduation! Deadlines for applying online for 2014 are November 1 (2013) for May grads; February 1 (2014) for summer grads. If you haven't already applied online, do so now and contact your academic department. This is the only way to assure your name is on the graduation list.
Caps and gowns will be available on line beginning February 1. Academic Ceremonies knows you plan to attend the Commencement ceremony when you purchase your cap and gown and complete the Commencement Participation RSVP.
Diplomas are ordered for May grads on March 7. Changes for program copy only can be made until April 18.
Your name will appear on your diploma and in the commencement program copy the way you are admitted to the university. If you need to check to see how your name will appear, you may email Amy Betz. Be sure to include your student ID number and your degree information in your email. Changes in your name must be done in person in the registrar's office in Kettler Hall, Room 107. A photo ID is required. You can also take care of this at the Grad Fair on March 4 and 5.
