Summit Scholars Competition: Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Summit Scholars Program, you must...

  • Submit your application to IPFW by December 15
  • Fulfill the requirements for an Academic Honors or Core 40 Diploma (Indiana students) or a college preparatory curriculum (out-of-state students)
  • Have an SAT score of 1380 or ACT of 29 and grade point average of 3.5 (or higher) on a 4.0 scale OR an SAT score of 1470 or ACT of 32 without consideration of grade point average*
  • Be invited to take part in the Summit Scholars Competition
  • Submit your Summit Scholars Application and Summit Scholars Competition Registration by January 10, 2018. THIS DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JANUARY 21, 2018.
    • The application form will be sent via email to all eligible candidates in November 2017, December 2017, and January 2018. If you meet the eligibility requirements and have been admitted to the university but have not received an email regarding the Summit Scholars Competition, contact Kelsey McQuillin at
  • Submit your FAFSA by January 10, 2018. THIS DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JANUARY 21, 2018
  • Participate in the Summit Scholars Competition on Saturday, February 10, 2018.

*SAT scores reflect the new SAT scoring effective beginning March 2016. If you tested prior to March 2016, contact Kelsey McQuillin.
