CASA’s tutors are students who offer learning assistance in students’ courses and other specified academic activities. The tutors also work to identify and address students' needs and concerns and recommend additional campus resources to meet those needs.
CASA provides tutoring services to IPFW students at no additional cost. Students are allowed two hours of tutoring per week for each subject, depending on tutors' availability. Call 260-481-5419 or stop by Kettler Hall G23 if you do not find an available tutor on TutorTrac [link].
The tutors receive training that meets professional standards set by the College Reading and Learning Association. They assist students in accordance with the Code of Ethics set by the National Tutoring Association.
Tutoring begins the second week of each semester and ends the week before final examinations. CASA thanks the Indiana Purdue Student Government Association (IPSGA) for its support.
Students may access unlimited walk-in tutoring in math.
Tutoring by appointment is available in many subjects. See TutorTrac [link] to find an available tutor.
