Math Assistance in CASA

The Centers for Academic Success and Achievement have many resources to assist students taking a math or statistics course. Math assistance in group settings is available in KT G19 or SI sessions. One-to-one math tutoring is available by appointment through TutorTrac

Math Resource Areas

Students may walk into Kettler Hall G19 for math assistance from Supplemental Instruction leaders. Math assistance is available for all 100-level and 200-level math courses, and all math-related questions in other courses.

The Math Resource Area's hours of operation are:

  • Mondays and Wednesdays: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays:   9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
  • Fridays: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Beginning in January 2014, CASA will offer a specific math lab for students working on MyMathLab for MA 12401. CASA will provide a computer lab in Kettler Hall (KT) 116 between 10:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Two tutors will be available to assist students on an as-needed basis. In addition, math instructors will provide some hours for assistance.

When the lab in KT 116 is not open, students are welcome to use the Math Resource Area in KT G19.
