As a Career Counselor and the JLD Administrator, Christina is responsible for the following:

  • Assists students in obtaining off-campus part-time, temporary or seasonal employment and provides general career counseling for students and alumni
  • Teaches the EDUC x210 career planning class
  • Acts as the primary contact for students in the College of Engineering, Technology, and Computer Science and Health and Human Services
  • Collaborates with diverse groups on campus, including the Center for Women and Returning Adults and the Office ofDiversity and Multicultural Affairs

Christina became part of Career Services in 2007. She received a Master of Education degree with a concentration in College Student Affairs and a Graduate Certificate in Career Counseling from University of South Florida. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in English from University of South Florida. Christina is also qualified to administer and interpret the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator®, Strong Interest Inventory , FOCUS and Self-Directed Search.
