Senate Document 15-6 approved by Faculty Senate on 10-19-2015 to replace Senate Document 98-22

Faculty Senate approved the new Academic Assessment Plan (SD 15-6) on October 19, 2015.  The new policy was developed by The Assessment Council and submitted to EPC in April 2015.  Please follow the link below to review the new policy.

Proposed Restatement of 98-22 Assessment of Student Academic Achievement

The Assessment Council completed a proposed revision to SD 98-22 in April 2015.  The proposal was submitted to the Educational Policy Committee and will be voted on by Faculty Senate in Fall 2015.  The purpose of the policy is to streamline and standardize assessment reporting for all academic programs and departments, to align our assessment strategy with requirements of the Higher Learning Commission, and, most importantly, to implement a strategy that supports student learning and success.  In addition, careful attention was paid to ensuring that the assessment reporting requirements align with and support policies of professional accreditors of IPFW programs.
