This event is open to community businesses that are interested in learning how to build an internship program, while making it impactful. Some of the topics that will be covered include understanding and communicating with the Millennial generation, planning for the best time of year to host interns, compensation and benefits, and learning how to structure internship assignments, projects, and tasks.

Kelly Brown, HR coordinator for Mohawk Flooring, says, “The workshop was extremely beneficial to my organization not only because of the wealth of internship information & resources but also for the networking and connecting the class provided. It was helpful to meet individuals form other organizations who were in the same boat as I was. Dr. Shindell is an exceptional speaker and communicator with a wealth of knowledge to share on this topic!”
