Fort Wayne, Ind.—The Office of Advancement at Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) welcomes Kathryn Dilworth as the director of donor relations and stewardship.
"This position is integral to the mission of the Office of Advancement," said Wendy Kobler, vice chancellor for advancement. "Kathryn brings a wealth of experience to our team. I know that our donors at IPFW are going to be thrilled to work with her."
Dilworth’s background includes more than 10 years of nonprofit fundraising and public relations. She has worked in the areas of hospitals and conservation and cultural organizations, including libraries and museums. Additionally, she ran her own consulting practice for many years, offering branding guidance to nonprofit organizations and small businesses.
“I am looking forward to working with the donors at IPFW. We are fortunate to have a very dedicated group who are making a difference in the lives of our students and our university," said Dilworth.
Dilworth has a B.A. in English from the University of Mississippi and an M.A. in English from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She enjoys running, writing, and exploring libraries and art museums. Both her son and daughter are students at the University of Mississippi.
She began her role on July 21.
