Interactive Workshop Aims to Spark Interest in Engineering for Girl Scouts

FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) is hosting the workshop "Wow! That's Engineering" for area Girl Scouts. The workshop is packed full of interactive projects that showcase the creativity and innovation needed to work in the field of engineering.

Attendees will learn about circuits, sound, wind, and bridge design in a fun, hands-on way. All Girl Scout Juniors and Cadettes are welcome to attend Saturday, February 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at IPFW in the Engineering, Technology, and Computer Science Building. Attendees will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the ET building lobby. Admission for the workshop is free and includes lunch and a badge.
