IPFW Nursing and IU School of Medicine–FW Collaborate with Parkview on Area Clinic

August 06, 2015 FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Every 12 to 15 seconds an older adult in this country falls. Falls are also among the most common injuries treated in emergency rooms. Parkview's Fall Prevention Clinic, part of the Center on Aging and Health, aims to change those statistics in an ongoing collaboration with the IU School of Medicine (IUSM)–Fort Wayne and IPFW Department of Nursing.

June 08, 2015 FORT WAYNE, Ind.—All 37 of the 2015 Bachelor's graduates from the Department of Nursing passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) on the first attempt. Five Master's graduates passed their American Nurses Credentialing Center certification exams.
