  • Update Nov. 18, 2016: The National Science Foundation grant supporting this conference was recently announced: DMS-1650319.  Travel expense reimbursements for participants will be completed soon.

Workshop Information:

  • For more information on the Midwestern Workshop on Asymptotic Analysis series, including future events: MWAA web site.
  • The 2016 Workshop is free to attend, but please register online by October 2 for housing and banquet reservations.  (Online registration is still open, or just show up!)  Graduate students and post-docs are especially encouraged to attend, and participants may apply at the Workshop for reimbursement of travel expenses.

  • SCHEDULE UPDATE: Due to hurricane-related travel issues, some talks may appear in an order different from the printed schedule.  Our current (Oct. 6) plan is to switch Lundberg's and Boyvalenkov's time slots.

  • A poster exhibit area will be available for students and post-docs to display posters they bring to the workshop.  If you're a participant interested in this, send an email to Prof. Coffman (CoffmanA (at) ipfw.edu) so we'll have enough display stands.  The available equipment is shown in these pictures from the IPFW Student Research Symposium.
  • Saturday Banquet Payment options:
    • Use this link (if you haven't already) to pay in advance for the Saturday dinner by credit card.  (Online reservations for the dinner are now closed but tickets may become available on site.)
    • Bring a check to the event, for $26 payable to IPFW Department of Mathematical Sciences
