College of Education and Public Policy

Welcome to the secondary education program. By completing this program you will receive a Bachelor's of Science in Secondary Education. This degree prepares you for teaching in middle and high school settings (grades 5 -12). Upon satisfactory completion of this program, you are eligible to apply for an Indiana teaching license through the Indiana Department of Education.

Due to our unique campus of blending Purdue and Indiana Universities, you may be a student completing requirements in two colleges. You may have two advisors to complete your program. Information on advisors is available on the tabs above.

These are the teaching majors you can select from at IPFW. The curriculum sheets below are the most current requirements for Fall 2013 incoming students. If you began your program before Fall 2013 please see EPIC for your requirements.
