Q. When should I apply for admission to the MBA+ program?
A. Applications for admission for domestic students are reviewed on a rolling basis. The final deadlines for international students are Fall: June 30 and Spring: October15.

Q. Is the MBA+ program AACSB accredited?
A. Yes, the Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne MBA program is the only AACSB International - the American Association of Collegiate Schools of Business accredited program in Northeast Indiana.

Q. How many credit hours is the MBA+ degree?
A. The MBA+ program requires the completion of 36 credit hours. This involves 11 core courses along with 2 track courses (Business Analytics or Finance). Students, depending on their background, may also need to complete 4 credits of Business Foundation courses.

Q. How long will it take for me to complete the MBA+ degree?
A. The schedule of classes has been designed to make it possible for students to complete the program in 18 to 24 months.

Q. When are classes offered?
A. Classes are normally offered in the evenings on week nights to make it easier for both working professionals and full time students to complete the program in a timely manner. Hybrid and online course options are available.

Q. How much do classes cost?

Q. Are financial aid and loans available?
A. Yes, contact IPFW Financial Aid office.

Q. Are graduate assistantships available?
A. Yes, browse our website for more information.

Q. What are hybrid courses?
A. In a hybrid course, 50% of course content is delivered online and 50% through face to face class meetings.

Q. Where else can I look for scholarships or tuition assistance?
A. Check with your current employer about reimbursement of fees. You can also check local and campus libraries for scholarship catalogs.

Q. Is the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) required?
A. Yes, the GMAT is required of all applicants. Calculated score needed is 450.

Q. Where can I take the GMAT?
A. Visit the official GMAT website for details about sitting for the exam.

Q. How much does the GMAT cost?
A. The GMAT costs $250. Study materials are available from libraries or book stores.

Q. Where can I get more information about the (GMAT)?

Q. What transcripts should I submit?
A. Official transcripts are required from all Universities/Colleges you have attended. International transcripts need to be evaluated on a course by course basis.

Q. If I am an international student is there an international student services representative who can answer additional questions?
A. Yes, international students applying to the MBA+ program will also be working with the Office of International Education.

Q. What additional information can the international student services representatives help me with?
A. The Office of International Education provides critical information needed to apply at IPFW, including information on visas, tuition costs and the verification of transcripts.

Q. If I am an international student will I need to take the TOEFL?
A. Yes, the TOEFL is required, scores needed are 213 computer based test, 550 paper based test, or 80 for internet based test to be admitted into the MBA program at IPFW.

A. The MBA office is located in the Student Center, in the Richard T. Doermer School of Business, on the 3rd Floor of Neff Hall Room 360 D. Refer to our campus map for directions.

Q. What are the MBA program’s office hours?
A. Office hours are: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm

Q. What type of help is available if I miss class or don’t understand the topic?
A. To help facilitate learning, some classes are recorded. You can review topics within the searchable database of recorded lectures.
