Dr. Batzilis's teaching interest are in Microeconomics, Empirical Economics, Public Finance and Political Economics.
Dr. Batzilis's research focuses on the Economics of corruption, and he has worked on topics such as bribery in International Business Transactions, and corruption in local governments. Other recent work includes an empirical of various game theory models, using evidence from online rock-paper-scissors games.
