Gint, which unfolds like a strange dream presented in a theatrical and imaginative manner, is an adaptation of Henrik Ibsen’s poetic drama Peer Gynt. The title character Pete Gint is determined to become “something great, grand and glorious.” Set in the Appalachian Mountains, Gint meets an obstacle at every turn, ultimately running away from responsibility toward materialistic gain. After losing everything, he begins his long journey home.
