Consult Steve George when questions occur about financial aspects of an event being planned. Faculty and staff who plan to sponsor an event in Walb Union should contact Steve if contracts for lecturers or performers are involved and when registration fees or other money will be collected for the event being planned.

Facility Manager.
Blix Fredrick manages Walb Union Operations. Contact Blix if there are questions about facility use, customer services, scheduling priorities, co-sponsorship issues, and other policies, such as alcoholic beverage service at events on the IPFW campus. Blix oversees the operations staff, facility scheduling, and special customer services.

Special Events Coordinator.
Pat Glowacki plans the physical arrangements for large conferences, wedding receptions, dances, and other special events. Contact Pat a few months in advance of the events to arrange a consultation. Pat will create a diagram of the event plans to assist caterers, guest seating and displays, and she will coordinate support services.

Operations Coordinator

Contact the Operations Coordinator to schedule campus meetings and provide setup information for meetings in Walb Union. The Operations Coordinator coorindates the room arrangements and supervises the student staff preparing rooms for meetings. The Operations Coordinator also oversees the customer service desk and Student Recreation Center.

Evening Operations Coordinator

There is also an Operations Coordinator in charge of operations and the customer service desk staff during evening hours. The evening operations coordinator also schedules student organization meetings and the special events student groups plan, as well as helping campus organizations define set up arrangements and discuss facility policies.

Janneke Rooijakkers and Drew McMillen are in charge. Students who staff the customer service desk also prepare the facility for scheduled events and operate the Student Recreation Center.
