IPFW Department of Visual Communication and Design presents…
David Hume Kennerly – photographer

Photographer David Hume Kennerly, a member of Canon USA’s prestigious “Explorers of Light,” won a Pulitzer Prize for his Vietnam War photographs, was personal photographer to President Gerald R. Ford, and has traveled to more than 140 countries on assignment. He is a contributing editor for Newsweek magazine, where he photographs wars, politics and the demise of popular sitcoms.  During his visit to IPFW, Kennerly will reflect on his amazing career and share some of his experiences behind the camera.

Copies of his most recent publication Barack Obama, The Official Inaugural Book, and his book Extraordinary Circumstances: The Presidency of Gerald R. Ford are currently available at Follett’s Bookstore in the basement of Kettler Hall and will be available for purchase immediately after his lecture.  A book signing will immediately follow Kennerly’s presentation.      http://www.kennerly.com/
