Education on Stage
IPFW teaches the theory and practice of theatre. New plays; new ways of presenting old plays, musicals, and classics; and new ideas in performing are what make the theatre department at IPFW unique among university theatres. Students study content (dramatic literature, theory and criticism, and theatre history) and process (acting, directing, design, and production). They develop a strong sense of the commitment required to pursue the art and craft of theatre.
