The Caretaker

By Harold Pinter
Directed by Jane Frazier

Studio Theatre in Kettler Hall
April 3 and 4, 2009     8:00 p.m.

Aston, a quiet, reserved man, who lives alone in a cluttered room of a small abandoned house in a poor London district, befriends and takes in an old derelict. In time, Aston offers him a job as caretaker of the house while Aston's brother Mick, a taunting, quasi-sadist - harasses the derelict when his brother is away, countermanding his orders. Noble Laueate Harold Pinter's The Caretaker is one of Modern Theatre's most famous works.
