Purely Dance 2009

The IPFW production of Purely Dance 2009 features fresh, new choreography every year and this year will welcome special guests Mikautadze Dance Theatre, a new professional modern dance company in Fort Wayne. The show features five choreographers and six choreographed pieces.
Artistic Director of the Mikautadze Dance Theatre, Elizabeth Mikautadze, is responsible for the choreography in two of the pieces that will be performed by her professional dancers for Purely Dance 2009. She is, “excited about her dance company’s performance in this year’s show, as this will be the troupe’s first opportunity for exposure, since it formed in 2008.”
