Where Talented Students Flourish

The Department of Theatre is proud to offer world-renowned Purdue University degrees in theatre to theatre majors and minors selected for their creative talent and potential for artistic achievement. At IPFW, students with a love for the arts and commitment to succeed come together in a supportive and enjoyable learning community to prepare for their future.

IPFW Student Housing is a community in and of itself on campus.  Occupants have apartment-style dorms with private bedrooms, allowing for ample peace and quiet necessary to study, finish homework and complete projects.  Student Housing allows for quick, easy access to the main campus and provides an active student atmosphere and network.

Student Life oversees all of the student organizations on campus, including the American Choral Directors Association, Art Students League, IPFW Band Student Organization, Music Educators National Conference, Music Therapy Student Organization, Student Theatre Organization, and Visual Design Association.  For more information on Student Life, visit http://www.ipfw.edu/stulife/.

IPFW Multicultural Services (http://www.ipfw.edu/odma/) exists as a support system for African American, Hispanic, Native American, International, Asian American, and first generation non-traditional college students. Multicultural Services also serves to maintain a positive connection and working relationship between the university and diverse groups.  Several student organizations are offered through Multicultural Services, as well as programs, a newsletter, and scholarships.

Student Sound Bytes (http://www.ipfw.edu/admissions/blog/) is a compilation of eight student bloggers from IPFW. From freshmen to seniors, all with differing majors, including theatre, Student Sound Bytes is an excellent way to gauge the atmosphere of the IPFW campus, its courses and its students.

The University Student E-Mail Directory is a superior method to contact other students. All you need to know is the first two letters of a person’s last name to find their email address, if the person has chosen to be listed.  The directory can be used at http://www.ipfw.edu/search/people/students.shtml.
