As Entertainment Costume’s Team Lead at Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, Jeanne costumed shows for the amusement park ranging from Broadway-style “golden oldies” and country western shows, to concert-style country and bluegrass productions, as well as children’s storybook theatre and character costumes. She also created over 30 garments for the namesake of the park, Dolly Parton. She then left the glitter and rhinestones of Dollywood to pursue a career in educational theatre at University of Tennessee, Knoxville. While at the University of Tennessee, she supervised the build of costumes for many professional and regionally known designers and served as the head of the Theatre Safety Committee. Some of her specialties are dyeing, corsetry and puppet construction.
