Symphonic Wind Ensemble

The concert will feature “A Hymn for the Lost and the Living” by Eric Ewazen.  Ewazen, a teacher at the Juilliard School, wrote the piece after 9/11 as a memorial to the lost souls of that tragic event.  The music of American composer William Schuman will also be celebrated with his “New England Triptych,” a collection of prized works for wind band.
