Spring 2005

Fine Arts major Sarah Rayle was the recipient of the 2004 Pine SAP Art Fair Scholarship distributed by Alumni Relations and the PineSAP Committee. Students from all four departments were encouraged to apply if they were the child, step-child or spouse of an IPFW Alumni member. Rayle was awarded the sum of $1,200 to further her studies at IPFW. Her husband Troy Rayle is an IPFW Alum with a degree in Radiology.

Rayle, a senior, was recently assigned studio space in Dolnick Center across the street from the University, on the grounds of the State Developmental Center. An area has been set aside for senior artists to have an independent work space to help them focus on senior projects were several pieces are required to carry out the theme. There she can keep working on a large number of projects at one time without having to disturb her clay, canvases or materials when each work session is complete.
