Robert Schroeder, M.F.A.

Associate Faculty, Metalsmithing

Robert Schroeder is a limited term lecturer in the fine arts program, with specialized expertise in metalsmithing. He teaches Beginning Metals and Advanced Metals and serving as the metalshop lab supervisor. Schroeder received his Master of Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin in Metal Working and Sculpture and a Bachelor in Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin in Metal Working and Painting. In 1988, Schroeder received the Professional Development Award for exceptional job performance from the University of California , and, in 1980 the Porter Butts Creative Arts Award from the University of Wisconsin . Robert Schroeder also received the IPFW 2004 Outstanding Associate Faculty Member Award. He is self-employed as an artist and independent curator and has had work displayed in numerous exhibitions.
