Business Manager Barbara Romines has been with the College of Visual and Performing Arts since the school was created in 1987 and since 1980 had previously worked in Payroll and Admissions. She received her A.S. in Accounting from Indiana University in 1988. She has also served on numerous campus committees including being IPFW's representative to Purdue's West Lafayette campus as a member of APSAC for 3 years. She is a regular apheresis donor through the American Red Cross and has worked on fundraising efforts to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society. Ms. Romines is also a trained instructor for the Rape Aggression Defense (RAD) program on campus. RAD is the only self-defense program endorsed by the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators and is the only program of its kind to offer a free lifetime return policy. RAD's instructional objective is "to develop and enhance the options of self-defense so they may become viable considerations to the woman who is attacked."
