Description of the department:
The Department of Music is staffed by 13 full-time, nine half-time and 25 associate faculty. Many instrumental faculty are members of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra. The department enrolls approximately 140 majors and 30 minors in curricula leading to the Bachelor of Science in Music and an Outside Field, Bachelor of Science in Music Therapy, Bachelor of Music in Performance, and Bachelor of Music Education degrees; is accredited by NASM, the American Music Therapy Association, and occupied new state-of-the-art facilities in July 2007.
