OpenVPN Connect for Windows

Installing OpenVPN

  1. Open a Web browser and navigate to
  2. Log in with your IPFW username and password.
  3. Click the click here to continue link to download the OpenVPN client.
  4. After the download process has finished, locate the downloaded file.
  5. Double-click openvpn-connect-
  6. Click Run to start the installation process.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to install OpenVPN.


  1. Click the OpenVPN Connect icon located on the system tray.

  2. Move the cursor over and click Connect...
    OpenVPN - Server
    *Note: If server is not available, you need to import the server manually:

    Place the cursor over Import and click From server...
    OpenVPN - Import Server

    Enter in the OpenVPN - Connect pop-up window and click Continue.

  3. Enter your current IPFW username and password in the corresponding fields.

  4. Click Connect.
    Note: For the first time access, click Yes on the OpenVPN - Warning pop-up window.OpenVPN - Warning Window
  5. If successful, the following should be displayed from the task bar: The connection to has been established.
