027--Collaborating to Offer a Statewide IT degree Online Presented by: Larry Booth, Clayton College & State University

In March of 2004, the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia approved an online IT program called WebBSIT, a bachelor of science in information technology. This new program is a collaborative effort of five universities in the state. Each has its own IT program and contributes to the collaborative effort. This paper will summarize the collaborative’s history and describe the governing structure that has evolved to develop curriculum and to administer the program.
