On behalf of Indiana University - Purdue University Fort Wayne, the Center for the Enhancement of Learning and Teaching (CELT) scholars from around the world were invited to participate in the 2004 online conference,Teaching Online in Higher Education (TOHE). The focus for 2004 was the politics and ethics of online teaching.

Offered entirely via the Internet, the 2004 TOHE conference featured presentations and discussions on a topic that is quickly becoming the focus of debates on many campuses. The conference was held November 10 - 12, beginning at 8:00 a.m. GMT-5:00-Indiana [East] and concluding at 7:00 pm GMT-5:00-Indiana [East].
