Computer-based Exams

MAT (Miller's Analogies Test)

The Miller's Analogies Test (MAT) is scheduled by appointment. Contact Testing Services at 260-481-6600. Students retaking the MAT will be required to bring a retest admission ticket from the Psychological Corporation. Persons requiring test accommodations based on disability must contact the Director of Testing Services at least seven (7) business days before the scheduled test date. Disability documentation may be required. The cost of the MAT is $70. 1 1/2 hours should be allowed for the test. MAT information is available in Kettler Hall, room 232, or on the Psychological Corporation Web site.

CLEP (College Level Examination Program)

Testing Services welcomes your interest in the College Level Examination Program. Exam dates for both General and Subject areas are printed below. All tests are timed. Students should allow approximately two hours per test. A maximum of two tests may base taken per test date. The test will begin at 8:30 a.m.

IPFW is a national testing site for College Level Examination Program (CLEP). Testing Services offers all CLEP examinations; however, not all exams may be accepted as credit at IPFW. Students should check with the appropriate institution to be sure CLEP credit is accepted.

The test fee for each examination is $77 made payable to the College Level Examination Program, plus a separate service fee of $20 per examination made payable to IPFW. If you are registering for an exam that has an optional essay required by your reporting institution, there will be a $10 additional charge per essay made payable to IPFW.CLEP will not accept cash. The essay will be scored by the institution requiring the essay portion.The registration form and check or money order must be received in the IPFW Testing Services, by the deadline date (see below for test and deadline dates). We are unable to accept registrations by telephone. You may fax your registration to 260-481-4155. On the registration form, students must state that they are authorizing CLEP to charge $77 per test and IPFW $20 per test on their credit or debit card. People who require test accommodations based on disability, must contact the Director of Testing Services at least seven business days before the scheduled test date. Disability documentation may be required.

Paper-based Exams

Testing Services administers many national and certification exams and has registration and test materials on those tests not administered on the IPFW campus.

All tests are offered on the IPFW campus, unless otherwise noted.
