        The Director of Student Life is responsible for promoting extracurricular and co-curricular events, which are designed to enhance the educational process and nurture the development of all students into well-rounded individuals.

        Student Life provides ongoing leadership training for student organization officers and future campus leaders; assists student government and helps establish an arena where students can engage in cooperative decision making. We also supervise the IPFW Greek system; authorize nonuniversity postings; maintain the caledar for student events on campus; and provide rental information for off campus housing.

        Another important function of Student Life is student organizations. We coordinate the recognition process for student organizations, formulate and recommend policies that apply to the development and management of such groups, allocate office space to student groups, and serve as a liaison between the university administration and the advisors and/or officers of the student organizations.

        IPFW is proud of the variety of active student organizations it has to offer, but additional groups are always welcome. Anyone wishing to organize a club is encouraged to visit the Student Life office for assistance.
