Student Senate

Who we are:
     The senate is composed of 20 at-large members and one member from each school/division on campus. If you are interested in becoming a senator please contact the Student Body Vice President for more info.

 

What we do:
     
The Student Senate is the legislative branch of IPSGA and is responsible for representing student concerns, advocating university policy changes, and enabling student lobbying. In addition, Student Senate provides money for student programming and charters student organizations on Campus.

 

Get involved:
     The first step to becoming involved with Student Senate is to check out a Student Senate meeting. The Senate meetings are all listed on the online Calendar. We invite you to come by and participate in the Student Government process.
