About Us
Welcome!
Welcome to the IPFW Division of the Indiana University School of Public and Environmental Affairs(SPEA). The division is multi-disciplinary including elements of law, economics, political science, quantitative analysis, criminal justice, and sociology organized as a professional school. Our mission is to educate and train students for management and administrative careers in the public and not-for-profit sectors, and to conduct research and service in those sectors.
The purpose of these studies is to broaden the student’s comprehension of the economic, political, and social contexts in which public servants work and to provide the student with information about administration in the changing public sector. Graduates enhance their skills and knowledge for careers in local, state, and federal government and in quasi-public service organizations, such as health care, criminal justice, and social service agencies.
If there are ways we can be of service to you, let us know. Certainly if you have a moment, please stop by and visit with us.
