Browser Configuration

Clear Temporary Internet Files/Cache

To speed the loading of web pages, browsers store cached or temporary copies of web pages and images to your hard drive. In most cases, this is a blessing but in some cases, where the information on web pages changes frequently including Banner 7, it is a hindrance. To delete these cached copies, use the directions documented on the IT Services web site.

Windows - Internet Explorer, Netscape and Firefox

Macintosh - Safari and other browsers

  1. Click Tools
  2. Click Options
  3. Click Tabs (or Tab Browsing) at the top of the window
  4. Select "a new tab in the most recent window"
