TOPIC: Name changes

The Curriculum Review Subcommittee has examined two proposed name changes, and has unanimously approved both of them. We recommend them to the Senate, and see no need for further review by the Senate.

The Department of Earth and Space Sciences has proposed to change its name to Department of Geosciences effective 1991-92.

The School of Health Sciences has proposed that the "Mental Health Technology" A.A.S. degree be changed to "Human Services" A.A.S. degree. With the approval of that change, the Department of Mental Health Technology will become the Department of Human Services.
