Meeting 9/15/06

More deliberations concerning changes to the IPFW Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct.  We considered whether to require students to confer with the Dean of Students before filing a complaint, whether any documentation is needed for the formal process, if documentation is needed what it should be, and many issues regarding the wording of the revisions.  After we assembled a working copy of the revisions, we decided to send it to all parties (including the absent members) to study for a week.  Then we would vote via e-mail as to whether to send our proposed revisions to the full senate.

Meeting 9/1/06

T. Grove elected chair and meeting will be held this semester on Fridays between 1:30 and 2:30.  The committee examined the document sent to us by the SubCommittee On Athletics concerning acceptance of the Mid-Con Conferences offer.  The student affairs committee unanimously agreed to propose that the full Fort Wayne senate approve acceptance of the Mid-Con's offer.  The student affairs committee also began deliberations concerning changes to the IPFW Code of Student Rights, Responsibilities, and Conduct.
