The committee discussed and revised the draft of the proposed procedures to implement C-19 on this campus. The revised document will be submitted to the Senate.

1. Jeff Wilson was elected chair.

2. In order to elect half the committee each year, for this first year half the committee was assigned one-year terms and half was assigned two-year terms. One year terms: Blakemore, Bordens, Broberg, Hill, Hite, Ross, Sherr, Tierney, Unsell, Wilson. Two year terms: Barrett, Butler, Dhawale, Hamburger, Pacer, Perry, Silver, Squadrito, Tankel, Younis.

3. Elaine Blakemore was elected secretary.

4. We briefly discussed Senate Document 98-2 (Implementation of Revised Purdue University Executive Memorandum C-19).

5. We briefly reviewed the Senate bylaw changes (largely related to the committee's name change).

6. Jeff Wilson circulated a draft of a proposed set of procedures to implement C-19 on this campus. The document was discussed briefly. Jeff asked for comments on this document to be sent to him as soon as possible.

7. A subcommittee was formed to refine the draft of these procedures to bring back to the committee early next semester. The subcommittee members are: Blakemore, Bordens, Hamburger, & Wilson.

8. The next meeting will be at noon, Monday, January 25, 1999. Information about a room will follow.
