SUBJ: Formation of a committee to make recommendations concerning Management Agreement

 

WHEREAS, The Constitution of the Faculty of IPFW allows the Senate to make recommendations and to give advice to the administrations of the universities and the Boards of Trustees concerning a wide range of matters, and

WHEREAS, The Management Agreement between Indiana University and Purdue University governs the manner in which many of these matters are administered and regulated, and

WHEREAS, The Management Agreement expires July 1, 1993;

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, That the Nominations and Elections Committee conduct an election among Senators to select seven Senators to serve on a special committee to make recommendations concerning revision of the Management Agreement. Further, that their recommendations be submitted, upon consideration and approval by the Senate, to the administrations of both universities and the Boards of Trustees thereof;

FURTHER, That this committee complete its work and submit its recommendations to the Senate at its October 1992 meeting.
