SUBJECT:Twenty-Fifth Anniversary of IPFW

DISPOSITION:Upon approval, to the Presiding Officer for implementation

WHEREAS, Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne will celebrate its twenty-fifth year at its present campus during the 1989-1990 academic year and

WHEREAS, Students, staff, and faculty at IPFW have accomplished much during those years that deserves recognition, and

WHEREAS, The Fort Wayne community and surrounding region need to be apprised of this milestone and their contribution in making it possible;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the Senate endorse the idea of commemorating the twenty-fifth anniversary of the campus and encourage the participation of faculty in appropriate festivities and scholarly events to mark the occasion.
