The Division of Public and Environmental Affairs faculty sits in full body assembled and nominates candidate(s) from its members. That nominee receiving a simple majority vote (50 percent plus one) is then put forward as DPEA's candidate for Senate membership. Candidates to fill Senate vacancies are selected by the same process.
