The Calendar Subcommittee met on 12-7-98 at 11 am in SB 476.
Present:
L. DeFonso, J. Shung, K. Stevenson.
Absent: K. Browne (Registrar), S. DeChant, A. Chatterjea, K. Matthias, D. Peffenberger, H. Samavati.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the attached set of guidelines to be used in future deliberations of this committee in formulating campus calendars. Since the committee is charged only with setting the calendar, it was agreed among those present that this document should be a working document of the committee rather than a formula adopted by the Senate. To facilitate this it was suggested that this document be sent to the Senate "for information only" so that it will be in the minutes and thus easily found in the future.
Respectfully,
Ken Stevenson, Chair
