SUBJ:     Salary Increment Policies

DISPOSITION:     To the Presiding Officer for implementation

Whereas, the Faculty Senate has a legitimate interest in salary policy development and administration, and;

Whereas, the administration has been reporting to the Senate in response to individual questions on salary policy and implementation;

Be it resolved that the Faculty Affairs Committee solicit faculty input into the formation of salary increment policy recommendations in January and prepare recommendations, based upon that input, for consideration and approval by the Senate at its March meeting every other calendar year beginning in the 2007-2008 academic year

Be it further resolved that the Faculty Affairs Committee solicit faculty input regarding the administration of annual salary increments in September of each year and, based upon that input, prepare a comprehensive set of salary increment distribution questions for the administration, to be addressed at the November Senate meeting each year.
