RE:                   Priority Registration for Rostered Athletes

DISPOSITION:  To the presiding officer for implementation

WHEREAS, documented time and scheduling pressures create difficulty for rostered athletes to register for courses; and

WHEREAS, student athletes have strict requirements regarding degree completion; and

WHEREAS, the Student Athletic Leadership Team has requested that athletes be given the same priority status as honors students and students with disabilities;

BE IT RESOLVED, that rostered student athletes be permitted priority registration in conjunction with honors students and students with disabilities.
