The following is an e-mail I received from Chief Denhartog in response to Senators’ concerns regarding the sexual predator notification:

Contact us if you see him doing anything suspicious.

If you come in contact with him, just be aware, do not let him get you alone, do not get in a car or alone in a room with him.

If there are any changes, I will keep you informed. If the alert disappears from the web page, then that will mean that we believe the threat is gone also.

Keep in mind, this person has not committed a criminal act at this point. If he had he would no longer be here. He has just acted suspiciously in too many places, too many times. And, he has been previously convicted of a sex offense.
