Whereas, requests for space on university property coming from outside the university appear to be increasing and university space is limited; and

Whereas, systematic policy for the allocation of space leads to more coherent decision-making

Resolved, That:

1. The University evaluate such requests based upon the following considerations:

a) the outside organization and proposed joint activities be consistent with IPFW’s mission

b) the joint venture have specific university program support.

2. The University Resources Policy Committee be kept informed of such requests for property allocations and the administration’s consideration of these requests at the earliest appropriate time.
