Deciding on a Major

If you are considering what major to choose then this is a great time to meet with a Mastodon Advising Center staff member to further discuss exploration and how to choose a major.

2009-2010 Visit Days

The Mastodon Advising Center staff along with the IPFW Admissions Office hosts Don Day visits on Thursday afternoons. Available visit dates for the 2009-2010 school year are as follows:

  • Thursday, January 21
  • Thursday, January 28
  • Thursday, February 4
  • Thursday, February 11
  • Thursday, February 18
  • Thursday, February 25
  • Thursday, March 4
  • Thursday, March 18
  • Thursday, March 25
  • Thursday, April 1
  • Thursday, April 8
  • Thursday, April 15
  • Thursday, April 22

Time Schedule

The schedule for the Mastodon Advising Center Don Day is as follows:

  • 1:20 p.m.: Housing Tour Check-in (Optional)
  • 1:30 p.m.: Housing Tour - 1 hour walking tour (Optional)
  • 2:20 p.m.: Regular Check-in (Mandatory)
  • 2:30 p.m.: Sessions with Admissions
  • 3:00 p.m.: Campus Tour - 1 hour walking tour
  • 4:00 p.m.: Department visit
  • 5:00 p.m.: Visit Concludes
